I am a
student of psychology, i have two years for complete my profesional
carrer, and would really like to be a neuropsychologist. I would like to
do screening neuropsychologist in a hospital or private clinics. I wish work
with adults and adolescensce (no kids), who had suffered a stroke or a blow in
the skull o brain, etc. and that makes brain functions fail like: atention,
motivation, concentration, memory, planification, language and aritmetics
habilities, etc.
My work
will be make a screening through neuropsychologist test, they are very simple,
economics and easy and portable instruments. They suggest to detect brain damages, in wich lobe of the brain is located and the
depth of the brain injury. The results are more complete than
radiological examinations and more precise. They are helpful in the clinical diagnosis
and subsequent treatment of patients.
Also
I would like work in brain rehabilitation, with computacional programs and
differents elements of psychologist in a
therapy. The idea is that patients
exercise their brain and be able to restore and strengthen neural networks.
I
wish have luck with my future plans.
